Big Sunday 2008

2010 | 2009 | 2008

On Saturday, May 3, students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of USC Price joined more than 5,000 volunteers from across Los Angeles to help improve communities all over the city as a part of Big Sunday 2008!

“Big Sunday,” the largest annual citywide community service event in America, was held on Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4, 2008. It was a weekend for community building – with volunteers of every age and from every walk of life – and working together to help others. For the second year in a row, the USC Price volunteer group joined a school beautification project near the USC campus. Nearly 25 volunteers went to 42nd Street Elementary School to paint murals, clean, and green the campus — along with partners from The Walt Disney Company and City Year
