Enrichment Opportunities

LEAP enrichment activities

Lastly, the LEAP Program will develop new opportunities for USC Price undergraduate students to engage in extracurricular enrichment activities that facilitate social connections among their peers, and strengthen their connection to the university as a whole. Currently, USC Price engages undergraduate students through the Fell Undergraduate Student Conversations, which provide opportunities to interact with a variety of community leaders in the Los Angele area. In recent years, Price students have met with city managers, debated ballot initiatives, addressed health policy issues, and toured the Los Angeles River.

Through the LEAP Program, the Price School will build upon the success of the Fell Series, encouraging the creation or identification of other off-campus activities, including: special field trips, site tours, volunteer activities, lectures, or cultural performances in the Los Angeles area.

USC Price prides itself on using the city of Los Angeles as an urban laboratory, and the LEAP Program will ensure that students are taking full advantage of the multitude of social, political, and cultural opportunities available.

Enrichment activities will enable students to gain new perspectives on important social issues, cultivate new interests and passions, discover potential career opportunities, and cultivate lasting friendships with their peers.
