Sarah Chang is the mother of two boys who are Trojans. The eldest son, Andrew Chang, graduated this past May from Dornsife College of Letters and Sciences with a major in International Relations and Global Business. The younger son, Derek Chang, is a junior at USC Price and is expected to graduate in May 2018.

She has hosted numerous fundraising events and gathering for Boy Scout troop 223, the Palisades swim team, the Brentwood school swim team and the equestrian team. Sarah and her husband have continued to be an integral part of their son’s lives even in college and have enthusiastically embraced the Trojan community by being involved and engaged with various campus events, activities, and committees including LEAP.

Although Sarah takes great pride in her role as a parent, her professional and business ventures and accomplishments are not far behind. In 1993, Sarah Chang entered into joint venture with California Classic Sportswear, Inc., specializing both in garment production and in importing goods from overseas.
In 1995, Sarah Chang was instrumental in redeveloping and revitalizing Downtown Los Angeles fashion district. She created 35 individual retail and wholesale properties, resulting in creation of new quality job to the Downtown Los Angeles Community.
