In recognition of the valuable role students play toward improving the quality of life for people and their communities, the USC Price School of Public Policy has established the Price Graduate Summer Internship Fund.
The Internship Fund will provide vital scholarships for select master’s students who are participating in unpaid summer internships in the United States and abroad.
The Internship Fund — which began as a student initiative led by the Graduate Policy & Administration Community’s (GPAC) Professional Development Committee — came about through the collaborative effort of various Price School units, including the offices of Dean Jack H. Knott, Student Affairs, Career Services, Development and External Relations and the USC Price Alumni Association. The fund has grown to more than $10,000 in its first year.
This summer, five master’s students will be awarded $2,000 scholarships to support organizations whose work aligns with the Price School’s mission of improving the quality of life for people and their communities. Eligible applicants must be full-time first-year students enrolled in two-year master’s degree programs (MHA, MPA, MPL, MPP) or second-year dual degree students (e.g., MPP/MPL and MPA/MSW).
