Office of International Services

The Office of International Services (OIS) provides advising services and support for international students and scholars at the University of Southern California. Through an array of programs and initiatives for USC’s international community, OIS aims to help international students and scholars to achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals, and to make the most of the USC experience.

Widely recognized as a truly global institution with academic programs worldwide and international initiatives throughout the university, USC is proud of the fact that more international students choose to study here than at any other U.S. university. In addition, every school and department at USC benefits from the rich diversity of international scholars, faculty and staff who choose to become part of the Trojan Family.

The International Student section of the OIS website includes information for prospective, incoming and current F-1 and J-1 international students. In addition, OIS will assist you with Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and/or Optional Practical Training (OPT).

International students seeking further guidance on matters related to their international student status should contact OIS at (213) 740-2666. OIS is located in Suite 300 of the USC Student Union. Call to make an appointment with an immigration advisor or counselor. Alternatively, they have office hours on: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm and on Wednesday: 10:00am – 4:30pm.
