Melnick examines costs of medical house calls

The Washington Post highlighted a 2016 study by Glenn Melnick of the USC Schaeffer Center that found house call programs can reduce the overall cost of the health care system and reduce hospitalizations among subscribers. Melnick found recruiting potential patients and retaining them in the program can be difficult.
