Class Access Instructions
Current USC Students
If you are currently a USC student, please follow normal class registration procedures before trying to access your online class. In the schedule of classes, online sections are marked using a “Distance Learning” icon in the “Info” column of the class description. Please see the links in the navigation area for a list of distance learning class offerings from the Price School of Public Policy. If you need D Clearance in order to register for your online course, please have the distance learning class section number ready and contact the USC Price Student Affairs Office at 213/740-6842, or send an email along with the distance learning class section number to cgomez@sppd.usc.edu.
Once registered for your online class, you may access the class here:

Some classes require authentication via a login ID and password which you will be provided with prior to the beginning of the class semester.
Blackboard may be accessed here:
https://blackboard.usc.edu/
Log in using your USC login ID and password (the same credentials you use to access your USC web based email).
DEN Students
If you are currently a DEN student with the Viterbi School of Engineering and you are taking a distance learning class from the Price School of Public Policy, the process by which you access your classes and your blackboard account may be a bit different from DEN’s process.
You will have a separate blackboard account for your USC Price classes from the one you use for DEN, so your USC Price classes will not show up in your DEN Blackboard. Please see the section above for instructions on how to access the College blackboard system and your distance learning classes.
