Eric Batch is the Vice President of Advocacy for the Western States Affiliate of the American Heart Association. In his role with the Heart Association, Eric is responsible for managing the Advocacy/Government Relations Department for the Western States of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Prior to joining the American Heart Association, Eric worked as a Senior Consultant with Deloitte Consulting providing strategic guidance to private and public sector clients in change management and training. Eric has public policy experience at all three levels of government having worked in the Office of Management and Budget in Washington, DC, as a consultant to the CA Governor’s office, and on campaigns at the state and local level. Eric graduated from USC with a Master of Public Policy degree. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Southwestern University (Georgetown, TX).
