Bill Gil is President and Chief Executive Officer of Facey Medical Foundation, a non-profit medical group foundation that manages Facey Medical Group, a 150 physician medical group with 170,000 patients and $180 million in annual revenues. Facey Medical Group has been in operation for over 80 years.

Mr. Gil previously served as Chief Operating Officer for UniMed Management Company, a physician practice management (PPM) organization that managed ten medical groups and over a million capitated lives.

Bill is an experienced health care executive. His background includes senior executive positions at Pacific Physician Services, the first publicly traded PPM, as CEO of an HMO, and as CEO of an MSO of 16 hospitals in Florida.

Bill holds an MBA from Pepperdine University. He has been a featured speaker at numerous national professional conferences, addressing physician/hospital integration, medical group strategic issues, managed care, mergers and acquisitions, contracting, governance and succession planning, and the strategic imperatives in meeting today’s challenges in health care. Bill also teaches at USC, in their Masters of Healthcare program.
