Bill Gil is an adjunct professor at the Price School of Public Policy. For the past 10 years, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Facey Medical Foundation, a large medical group that contracts with nine health plans, providing care for 200,000 patients.
Professor Gil has worked for other health care management companies such as UniMed Management Company, CareFirst Health Plan, Pacific Physician Services, and MedConnect. As executive director, vice-president, and Chief Operations Officer of these companies, respectively, Professor Gil led their expansion, while improving their financial performance.
Professor Gil received a Bachelor’s degree in economics from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
