Michael Harris is an adjunct professor at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. He is a successful health care operations executive with extensive work experience in the health care management field.
As the health care consultant and manager of the consulting division for Healthcare Partners/The Camden Group, Professor Harris was responsible for the assessment and development of integrated health care delivery systems throughout the country. He assisted clients with strategic planning and interim executive management. Professor Harris was also Vice-President of Business Development, Marketing, and Communication for HealthCare Partners, a Physician Practice Management organization and medical group.
He also published the Risk Contracting Handbook (2000), Managed Care Advisor (2002), Medical Group Turnaround and Performance Improvement (2001), and Health Care Risking Contracting (1995).
Professor Harris received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from USC, and a Master of Science in Health Care Management.
