The mission of the Master of Public Policy program is to train practitioners in public policy to affect change and promote innovative solutions to the most critical issues facing society.
We achieve this mission through a strong interdisciplinary curriculum drawn from political science, economics, and quantitative analysis. The program culminates in the Policy Analysis Practicum, through which teams of students engage directly with clients for a year-long applied project that provides a unique opportunity to apply “knowledge in action.” Price MPPs are equipped to be sophisticated decision-makers and problem-solvers, skilled producers and consumers of empirical evidence, and knowledgeable contributors to the policy process. In addition to developing an impressive set of skills, students accumulate substantial experience applying their training to be successful and impactful in our complex, diverse, and rapidly-changing world.
