Individual Career Advising – USC Career Services staff and/or faculty are available to provide advice to students, including introductions to professionals in their field(s) of interest.
Informational Interviews – Students can arrange meetings with alumni and other Sacramento area professionals to learn more about career opportunities, obtain counsel, and develop professional networks.
Internships – A career development and internship class is required of students with less than two years full-time work experience. (PPD 543)
Mock Interviews – Mock interviews provide students with an opportunity to practice interviewing with a caring and supportive professional.
MPA Labs – These labs increase student awareness about a broad range of topics not usually covered in the MPA curriculum.
Recruiters on Campus – Alumni and recruiters from various organizations interested in hiring USC graduates visit the campus to meet with students.
