USC Price School of Public Policy

Policy Outreach

Capitol Dome

The Policy Outreach program at the USC Price School in Sacramento is a collaborative effort between the USC Price School and the USC State Government Relations Office.

The program supports our academic mission by bridging the scholarly research and public policy communities to create better informed and more effective policy decisions. It provides opportunities for USC faculty and students to directly interact with California state policymakers and the media through:

  • Policy luncheon events, featuring current Price School research along broad spectrum of topics including immigration, education and housing policy;
  • Collaborative projects with state government agencies that can benefit from the expertise of USC Price School faculty and researchers; and
  • Policy briefs that apply USC Price research to major policy issues in California.

Staff members include:

  • Janet Denhardt, Director, USC Price School in Sacramento
  • Janet Lopez, Executive Director, State Government Relations, USC
