USC Price School of Public Policy

Admission

USC welcomes students who are entering freshmen, entering transfer students, and current USC undergraduates who are in good academic standing. Please click here if you are a current USC undergraduate student and want to change your major to USC Price.

Admission is based on an assessment of the student’s academic background and potential for success at USC. For entering freshmen, this assessment is based upon:

  • high school grades
  • scores earned on the Scholastic Aptitude Test or American College Test
  • demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities
  • letters of recommendation (optional)

For entering transfer students who have completed at least 30 semester units (45 quarter units), assessment is based upon:

  • college or university grades
  • demonstrated leadership potential
  • letters of recommendation (optional)

The undergraduate major in USC Price is both interdisciplinary and pre-professional, providing undergraduate students with a unique academic experience not found at most universities. More information on the admissions process and applications can be found on the USC Office of Admission website: www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/.
