Growing up, most of us imagine a world of government and business not even noticing the crucial role that nonprofits play in our society. Yet, nonprofits are engaged in overcoming many of our most daunting social, economic, health, and political problems.
This track prepares students to become leaders in the nonprofit sector, engaging them with the necessary skills, introducing them to the possible alternatives in the nonprofit arena, and encouraging them to prepare themselves to work within an organization or start their own.
Educating the next generation of leaders to develop solutions will necessitate an understanding of nonprofits and their role in society.
