Rose quoted in Daily Breeze on ‘Lessons Hurricane Harvey offers Southern CA’
Price School Research Professor Adam Rose was quoted in a September 2 article in the Daily Breeze, the Los Angeles South Bay Region newspaper. He was remarked on how California was unlikely to suffer from major hurricanes, even with an acceleration of climate change, and pointed out that our major threats are droughts, wildfires, flooding from atmospheric river storms and storm surge in low-lying areas of the South Bay. His research on the economic consequences of a California Tsunami and a Severe Winter Storm were also cited.
