About Policy and Practice

Downtown Los Angeles

Policy and Practice is committed to publishing public policy, public administration, health policy and management, urban planning, and real estate development-related articles that contribute both to the academic dialogue and betterment of society.

Created in 2009 and launched in spring 2010, Policy and Practice is the student-adjudicated journal of the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California. The editorial board comprises current graduate students who operate under the auspices of USC Price faculty.

Written and submitted by graduate students in the Price School of Public Policy, the journal’s articles are selected for their topical and stylistic merit. Issues include public policy, public administration, health administration, planning, economic development, to name a few, and range in scope from the local to the global.

A formal call for articles with submission criteria is announced in the fall with a deadline for submissions in the following January. The online Policy and Practice journal has been published during the spring semester of the same year.

The views expressed in Policy and Practice are that of the authors only and do not reflect the opinions of the Price School of Public Policy.
