Dear Price Community,
It gives me great pleasure to congratulate the following members of the USC Price School of Public Policy community, who recently won their races in California’s midterm election on Nov. 4:
Bob Hertzberg, who serves on the Price School’s Board of Councilors, was elected to represent the 18th District in the California State Senate.
Jim McDonnell, MPA ’89, was elected Los Angeles County Sheriff.
Henry Perea, EML ’13, was re-elected to represent the 31st District in the California State Assembly.
Matthew Harper, ’97, was elected to represent the 74th District in the California State Assembly.
Reginald Jones-Sawyer, ’87, was re-elected to represent the 59th District in the California State Assembly.
Eduardo Garcia, EML ’12, was elected to represent the 56th District in the California State Assembly.
Tony Mendoza, EML ’14, was elected to represent the 32nd District in the California State Senate.
