More than 20 institutions, including leading universities and the World Bank, were represented. Experts discussed research relating to topics such as energy policy; climate policy; electrification and electricity access; fracking and renewables; and fuels and automobiles.
The workshop series was established by Empirical Methods in Energy Economics (EMEE), an international scientific network of energy economists. The gathering provides an opportunity for energy economics to meet, as well as to present and discuss scientific papers pertaining to empirical methods and applications in energy economics.
