The Price Scholars for Community Enrichment Internship Fund (PCE Fund) supports USC Price master’s students dedicated to strengthening Southern California communities. Through this program, selected students receive up to $7,500 to support unpaid or underpaid summer internships with public service, nonprofit, or community-focused organizations.

These internships offer valuable hands-on experience, professional development, and a chance to make a tangible difference in the region.

🎓 For Students

 Who’s Eligible

  • Current Price master’s students graduating in or after Fall 2026
  • Progressive degree students enrolled in master’s-level coursework
  • Internships lasting 10 weeks (30–35 hrs/week) between May–August
  • Positions must focus on community impact in Southern California
  • Priority for unpaid or underpaid roles

How to Apply

  1. Secure or apply for a qualifying internship.
  2. Complete the online PCE Fund application (link available when open).
  3. Submit:
    • Resume
    • One-page personal essay
    • Proof of internship (offer letter + job description)

Key Dates

  • March 27: Student application deadline
  • April 6: Award selections
  • May–August: Internship period

How It Works

  1. Submit your internship description for pre-approval.
  2. Approved listings will be promoted to students.
  3. Students apply directly to your organization and later to the PCE Fund for funding.

  • Located in Southern California
  • Focused on community enrichment
  • Minimum 50% on-site
  • 10 weeks (30 hrs/week) during May–August

Timeline

  • October–November: Internship pre-approval period
  • January–March: Student applications and interviews
  • May–August: Internship term
