The Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) was founded in 1943 by a group of Mexican entrepreneurs. Through 31 campuses located all over the country, 10 academic programs are offered. These areas include business and management, law, social sciences and humanities, communication and journalism, health, design and applied art, architecture, engineering and science, information technologies and electronics, and agriculture and food. In 2014, ITESM hosted 4,892 international students from more than 73 countries and 500 universities around the world.

Level: Undergraduate

Number of placements available: Up to 3 students per year

Semester of study available: Fall or Spring

Academic Calendar:

Fall SemesterEarly August – Early December
Spring SemesterEarly January – Mid-May

Areas of study: business and management, law, social sciences and humanities, communication and journalism, health, design and applied art, architecture, engineering and science, information technologies and electronics, and agriculture and food

Language of instruction: English and Spanish

Courses: USC undergraduate students may take up to 15 credits. Undergraduates may only take courses at the undergraduate intermediate and advanced levels (course codes XX200X, XX300X). Undergraduate students may not take graduate courses for credit.
