Sabrina Espinoza joined the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy as Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations in November 2021. In this role, she fosters collaboration with key stakeholders to champion programs central to the research and mission of the Price School.
Sabrina has more than fifteen years of nonprofit and private sector experience spanning higher education and public media. Having most recently worked in Advancement at the USC School of Cinematic Arts for eleven years, Sabrina’s roles included Associate Director of Annual Giving, Director of Annual Giving, and Senior Director of Development, Academic Support. Here, she spearheaded donor coordination and funding strategies to expand affordability and accessibility initiatives for current and prospective students, in addition to generating funding opportunities for faculty and programmatic needs. Sabrina’s inherent sense of constituent engagement and philanthropic approach led to the successful implementation of equitable pathways toward student success with a focus on student support, well-being, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. In her earlier roles, she designed and implemented an annual and mid-level giving strategy to increase student and alumni participation through a multi-channel engagement approach.
Before joining USC, she led teams and programs at PBS and NPR affiliates in Kansas, Central, and Southern California. During this time, she oversaw various membership initiatives, including a Kids Club, planned and managed membership events, and produced and hosted live on-air fundraising campaigns. In this capacity, Sabrina was able to grow revenue and develop integrated approaches to philanthropy. It was also during this time that she found her love for philanthropy and learned best practices in donor management.
With a personal passion for civic participation embedded in change agency and impact, Sabrina works to bridge pathways toward inclusive excellence. She holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Kansas and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. Sabrina is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
