The USC Price School of Public Policy’s Safe Communities Institute and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties hosted an interactive discussion and workshop that addressed DHS’ efforts to reinforce the Violence Against Women Act, particularly in combating female genital mutilation (FGM).
