Joseph B. Henderson, J.D., is a healthcare attorney and an Executive Master of Health Administration candidate (2013) at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy. Mr. Henderson has an interest in program development in palliative care and care transitions with a goal of increasing patient quality of life, improving quality outcomes and decreasing systematic cost.
Ruben Jubinsky is a Master of Planning and Master of Public Administration dual degree candidate (2012) at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy. Ruben is in the process of a career change from finance to sustainable development. He received his undergraduate degree in in Russian Studies from Haverford College.
Carley Markovitz is a Master of Public Administration and Master’s of Planning dual degree candidate (2013) at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy with a focus on environmental management and transportation planning. Carley attended Dartmouth College for her undergraduate studies, where she majored in Government and minored in Environmental Studies and Spanish.
Jessica Papia is a Master of Public Policy candidate (2012) at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy. She is also pursuing a Certificate in Public Management as part of her studies. A former high school English teacher in Baltimore, MD, Jessica plans to continue working in urban education reform.
Marie Sullivan is a Master of Planning candidate (2012) at the University of Southern California’s Sol price School of Public Policy. As a former documentary film editor and producer, Marie has written, troubleshot, managed, created and cataloged for companies as large as ABC News and as small as GOOD. She is now interested in putting her experience to work in urban projects, specifically in the data-driven worlds of transportation and economic development as well as the visually-centered realms of media, design, and mapping.
Brettany Shannon is a second year doctoral student studying urban planning and development at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy. Brettany’s research interests include the opportunities and challenges related to using media arts communications technologies for community development. She is former co-editor-in-chief of Policy and Practice as well as a founding senior editor of the journal in 2009-2010.
Brent Tercero is a Master of Public Policy candidate (2012) at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy. A former LAUSD schoolteacher, Mr. Tercero has an interest in education policy. He was also recently elected to the Pico Rivera City Council.
Robert Trombley is a Master of Public Policy candidate (2012) at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy. A former Capitol Hill staffer, Robert is mainly interested in education reform. This past summer he was an Education Pioneers Fellow and is currently a Research Assistant at University of Southern California’s Center on Educational Governance.
