Master’s Students

Master of Health Administration (MHA)

Students who have taken graduate coursework prior to admission to USC’s MHA program may transfer up to eight units. Except under extraordinary circumstances, students may not transfer credit once they enroll at USC. Transfer credit approval is granted by the Degree Director.

Master of Planning (MPL)

Students who have taken graduate coursework prior to admission to USC’s MPL program may transfer up to 12 units. Except under extraordinary circumstances, students may not transfer credit once they enroll at USC. Transfer credit approval is granted by the Degree Director.

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Students who have taken graduate coursework prior to admission to USC’s MPA program may transfer up to eight units. Except under extraordinary circumstances, students may not transfer credit once they enroll at USC. Transfer credit approval is granted by the Degree Director.

Master of Public Policy (MPP)

Students who have taken graduate coursework prior to admission to USC’s MPP program may transfer up to eight units. Except under extraordinary circumstances, students may not transfer credit once they enroll at USC. Transfer credit approval is granted by the Degree Director.

Dollinger Master of Real Estate Development (MRED)

Except under extraordinary circumstances, Dollinger MRED students may not transfer any graduate course units to USC. Transfer credit approval is granted by the Degree Director.

Doctoral Students

Ph.D. students must complete a minimum of 24 graduate units at the University Park Campus in Los Angeles. Ph.D. students may transfer up to 30 units. DPA students may transfer up to 24 units.
