USC Price policies with respect to transfer credit vary by degree program:
Students who have taken graduate coursework prior to admission to USC’s MHA program may transfer up to eight units. Except under extraordinary circumstances, students may not transfer credit once they enroll at USC. Transfer credit approval is granted by the Degree Director.
Students who have taken graduate coursework prior to admission to USC’s MUP program may transfer up to 12 units. Except under extraordinary circumstances, students may not transfer credit once they enroll at USC. Transfer credit approval is granted by the Degree Director.
Students who have taken graduate coursework prior to admission to USC’s MPA program may transfer up to eight units. Except under extraordinary circumstances, students may not transfer credit once they enroll at USC. Transfer credit approval is granted by the Degree Director.

Ph.D. students must complete a minimum of 24 graduate units at the University Park Campus in Los Angeles. Ph.D. students may transfer up to 30 units. DPA students may transfer up to 24 units.
