USC Price also houses a renowned independent research unit, the Center on Philanthropy and Public Policy.
In November 2011, as part of the naming gift from the Price Family Charitable Fund, the school launched the Sol Price Center for Social Innovation.

Academic Options for USC Price students
USC Price offers the Master of Nonprofit Leadership and Management (MNLM). This program is designed both for those with several years of work experience in the nonprofit sector as well as those intending to embark upon careers in this area.
In addition, undergraduates can pursue a Minor in Nonprofits, Philanthropy and Volunteerism, with three specialized courses, and graduate students can select from a MPA Specialization (Cluster) in Nonprofit Management and Leadership or a MPP Specialization in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Policy, with five specialized courses. The school is also offering a new Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Policy, available to all students and working professionals.
