Members of USC Price community elected to public office
The USC Price School of Public Policy is proud to announce that a number of alumni and other members of the Price School community were elected to prominent positions in the June 3 election:
- Hilda Solis, MPA ’81, was elected to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, representing the 1st District
- Dr. Robert Garcia, an adjunct faculty member at Price, was elected Mayor of Long Beach
- Stacy Mungo, MPA ’05, was elected to the Long Beach City Council, representing the fifth district
- Tim Goodrich, MPA ’11, was elected to the Torrance City Council
These individuals represent the Price School’s deep commitment to public service and good governance, and embody the school’s mission of improving the quality of life for people and their communities, here and abroad.
