MPA Labs

MPA Lab

Through the MPA lab, students develop foundational skills in professional writing, speaking, and research, and they meet with officials in local government, nonprofit and quasi-government agencies to develop an understanding of the professional practice of public and nonprofit management.

The MPA Lab is tied to the PPD 540-Public Administration and Society course, the Gateway course to the MPA. The MPA Lab commences with full-day required meetings the first two Fridays of the fall semester. Lab activities will be scheduled throughout the academic year.
