Jei Africa, PsyD, MSCP, CATC-V, FACHE is the Assistant Director of Human Services Agency (HSA) at the County of San Mateo. Prior to that he was the Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) at the County of Marin for over four years. He is an innovative thought-leader and clinician who is passionate about integrating effective culturally responsive practices into the core functioning of County health and human services. Dr. Africa is a licensed clinical psychologist and holds certification in both substance use and trauma, a certified executive coach and a credentialed county and healthcare executive.
