Department of Health Policy and Management

USC Price’s Department of Health Policy and Management is on a mission to improve the lives of others and reduce health disparities. We are committed to training the future leaders of health care who will improve not only the health of our broader population, but make the delivery of care safer, expand access and make health care affordable. Our faculty are policy experts and health economists who work collaboratively within research centers on campus, including the nationally-renowned USC Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics, to promote health and value in health care delivery through innovative research in the United States and internationally.

You will be prepared, as one of our students, to succeed in a health policy and management career thanks to the exposure and experience you will gain in our programs. As a leader, you will understand how to address the needs of diverse and often under-served communities. Through your chosen program, you will gain first-hand knowledge of how to solve real-world problems in health care.

Upon graduating, you will join an esteemed group of alumni who serve as health care executives, policy experts and public servants who are devoted to carrying out our mission and committed to providing opportunities for new students and fellow graduates. Together, we will impact the future of health care.
