Overview: Katherine Baker is a public health researcher interested in the intersections of nutrition and climate change. Katherine received their Ph.D. in community nutrition from Cornell University in 2023, and her dissertation focused on nutrient-dense food access and food sustainability capacity in New York City food retail stores. Katherine also obtained a master’s of public health in environmental health science, and a master’s of science in human nutrition from Columbia University, as well as a B.A. in psychology from New York University. Katherine currently focuses on finding successful solutions to encourage sustainable and equitable food systems.
