The Price School’s Bachelor of Science in Policy, Planning, and Development (PPD) program educates future leaders and problem solvers who care about the interests and wellbeing of our neighborhoods, cities, country, and world. The PPD program blends a strong liberal arts foundation with professional competence, enabling students to turn skill-based knowledge into action and real-world career opportunities.
Students choose one of five professional tracks: Health Policy and Management, Nonprofit and Social Innovation, Public Policy and Law, Real Estate Development, and Sustainable Planning. Price’s PPD program brings them together to create an interdisciplinary, problem-solving ethic that extends students’ reach across sectors.
To further connect learning to practice, PPD students use their track skills to complete a 140-hour internship or lab, working with organizations, agencies and the practitioners within them on planning, policy, health, and development projects.
USC Price provides a unique environment where students live, learn, lead, and thrive. From individualized advising to a vibrant location, the PPD program supports students’ academic success and promotes a well-rounded educational experience.
The breadth and depth of opportunities for professional training and career development within the Price PPD program is limitless. As a result, our undergraduates are well-positioned to enter their careers prepared to add value across a wide spectrum of organizations and employers.
