While spending the semester in D.C., students have the valuable opportunity to enhance their policy education by interning at one of the many esteemed institutions located in D.C. Price students in the past have interned at many notable agencies and organizations, including the White House, Capitol Hill, US Department of Justice, Government Accountability Office, and more.
Students work a minimum of 140 hours over the semester while taking PPD 301 PPD Practices: Internship Seminar (2 units online), which will support and guide them through their internship experience. Many internships may require 20 hours per week for 12 weeks.
Students should start searching for internships upon applying for the semester program, as many government agencies require applications 6-9 months in advance due to their lengthy lead times.
