Master of Public Administration
At the Price School in Sacramento, USC offers its signature graduate degree, the Master of Public Administration (MPA). Students can earn an MPA while establishing relationships with policy makers, agency directors, association executives and other influential state leaders. USC has been educating leaders in Sacramento for over 40 years. Students enrolled in the MPA Sacramento program experience the benefits of an education at a major research university while enjoying a strong sense of community and intimacy.

Policy Outreach
The Price School in Sacramento is actively engaged in policy outreach to establish partnerships and produce knowledge that improves problem solving on critical issues facing our society. USC recently co-hosted a symposium, “Rethinking Campaign Finance and Disclosure,” with the California Fair Political Practices Commission. More than 300 people from legislative, government, nonprofit, and private sector organizations attended this symposium, which featured Elizabeth Garrett, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost.

Executive Programs
The executive education programs for professional leaders at the Price School in Sacramento target nonprofit and public executives and focus on best practices in individual, group, organizational, community, and institutional leadership. Students learn approaches to strategy, customer relations, negotiation, cultural humility, and change leadership.
