James Hendrickson graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors in Public Policy, placing an emphasis in his studies on quantitative policy research. Prior to USC, he spent many years analyzing millions of court records in academic positions at the Eviction Lab, as well as in government policy research roles at the North Carolina Judicial Branch. This experience both studying and engaging in judicial policy from many vantage points has fed his research interests at the Price School of Public Policy, where he looks to study variation in court procedures and judicial decision making, and the ways policymakers can ensure equity for all parties involved.
