International Labs
The International Labs are designed as integrative professional experiences across the Price School of Public Policy; students from all USC Price graduate programs are welcome to participate. The labs provide students with an opportunity to build their credentials and experience while extending their network of professional contacts. Please view the link provided for more information.
The World Bank
USC Price has formed a relationship with the World Bank to provide internship opportunities for our students. The application and internship periods for summer and winter internship opportunities with the World Bank is outlined below. You can apply through the World Bank internship Web site.
Summer (June-September)
The application period for the Summer Program is December 1 – January 31 each year.
Winter (December-March)
The application period for the Winter Program is September 1 – October 31 each year.
Chinese Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD)
The Chinese Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD) hires several USC Price graduate student interns during the summer to work on urban planning projects in China. CAUPD is an interesting example of a policy think tank and academy residing within the Ministry of Construction, but one that also is fully engaged in important consulting work for local governments throughout the country. It looks for our student interns to help learn about planning practice in the United States, and to see how those lessons may apply in China. Typically, these paid internships are scheduled to begin just after the USC Price China Lab ends, so that students may do both. Application materials will be sent out by the Office of Career Services in January each year.
