Biography
Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Jeffrey Kim commissioned through the Trojan ROTC Program in 2007 as a Military Intelligence Officer. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Cognitive Psychology and holds a Master of Science in International Relations concentrated in Global Studies from Troy University. During more than 17 years of active-duty military service, LTC Kim has served in various tactical to strategic assignments supporting combat and intelligence operations, such as Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He has served in a range of leadership positions, to include Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Senior Intelligence Officer, and Executive Officer. Other significant assignments include Aide de Camp for a two-star General Officer command, Instructor at the Military Intelligence Captain’s Career Course, Intelligence Planner supporting Special Operations, Human Intelligence and Counterintelligence advisor and Collection Manager for the 25th Infantry Division. His last assignment prior to arriving at the University of Southern California focused on executive/senior level talent management for Special Management Division, HRC.
