Biography

Irum Mahmood is a second-year Executive Master of Health Administration (EMHA) Candidate at the USC Price School of Public Policy. As a first-generation student she earned her B.S. in Health and Consumer Sciences with a minor in Nutrition and Food from California State University, Sacramento. At Price, she also serves as the Vice President of the National Academic Honor Society, Upsilon Phi Delta which recognizes and promotes academic excellence and leadership in healthcare. She is also the Executive MHA Program’s Student Representative, where she advocates for her peers and organizes professional development events and social activities to foster community and support students. With a background spanning public health, biotechnology, and consulting, she has worked with the California Department of Public Health, CDC, Roche, Mercer, and the International Olympic Committee. Her expertise includes strategy and operations, social impact, and global health initiatives. Committed to advancing health equity and access, Irum is passionate about developing innovative solutions that drive meaningful change in communities all over the world. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and attending concerts and sports events.
