We are back on-campus and our office is now open!
For employers, please connect with one of our Associate Directors of Employer Relations to discuss ways to connect either virtually or in person with our students if you have hiring needs.
The Price Office of Career Services connects students motivated to solve local and global problems with practitioners who already are. By empowering students to navigate career complexity, we help create life-long, fulfilling careers.
Career Services
Student Resources
Career exploration and planning is a defining element of every student’s Price experience. Our staff maintains strong connections with employers and alumni across the public policy sphere, and we provide resources that give students a competitive advantage after graduation. From the moment a student arrives on campus, Price encourages individuals to consider what his or her future will look like, and our team will help you to determine which steps to take to get there.
Alumni Resources and Programs
The USC Price School Office of Career Services remains available to you even after you graduate. The Price School is committed to serving our vibrant alumni community — by providing advisement and insights as you explore career opportunities; by helping you connect with current Price students for job and internship openings; and by keeping you posted on how to become more involved in the Trojan Family.
Employer Resources
We connect great employers with highly qualified students and alumni who want to contribute to your organization’s growth and success. Our students work with leading faculty and professional mentors in areas including public and nonprofit management, health care administration, urban planning, policy analysis and managing international programs. From posting an opportunity to establishing your organization’s presence on campus, we hope that you build a relationship with our students so that we can improve communities together.
The team in the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy’s Office of Career Services supports our institutional commitment to launch students compelled to serve local and global communities. Student-centric and collaborative, we aspire to create a portfolio of programs and activities that tailor to the distinctive and diverse array of students’ occupational ambitions and employers’ hiring needs. To this end, our work is guided by the following principles:
EXPERTISE-DRIVEN
Charged to deliver career education and training, we recruit information-seeking staff who strive to remain abreast of world of work culture, existing and burgeoning career pathways, and best-practice sharing in our field.
ACCESSIBLE
We serve many stakeholders, but our students come first. Our approachable staff empowers students to thrive in ambiguity with confidence and self-awareness.
PROFESSIONAL CONNECTORS
We see ourselves as the architects of connection, forging valuable relationships within the community and inculcating a career culture on the Price campus. In support of expanding and showcasing the Trojan network, we connect people to people, resources to students, and theory to practice.
GLOBALLY-MINDED AND COMMUNITY-CENTRIC
“Think global, act local.” We embrace this motto. In an ever changing and interconnected world, we recognize the importance of training a culturally competent staff to design programming that emphasizes diversity and inclusion. Our goal is to broaden student perspectives enabling them to see the widest range of careers possible.
