Biography
Joseph Sierra is an executive and consultant specializing in healthcare reimbursement, market access, and health economics. His advisory practice is primarily focused on medical technology companies. Joseph has developed programs and strategies to explore clinical and economic impacts, spanning healthcare services, AI and machine-learning, rehabilitation devices, monitoring and therapeutic services, diabetes, and cardiac devices.
With a demonstrated record of success in leading reimbursement strategies as a health economics expert and market access consultant, Joseph has held progressively senior roles in global reimbursement, health economics, and health policy. He has led payer relationships and contracting, set strategies in senior executive and boardroom contexts, created reimbursement approaches for technologies like durable medical equipment and digital health, and managed teams to enhance market access.
