BRED Admissions
The Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Development (BRED) welcomes students who are entering USC for the first time as freshmen, transfer students from community colleges or other universities, or current USC undergraduates who would like to change their major to Real Estate Development.
Freshmen Applicants
Incoming first-year students demonstrate superior academic performance and the potential to do more. The USC Office of Admission, which makes all admission decisions for Price undergraduate degree programs, can help with pre-admission counseling through a variety of programs and tours.
Freshman applicants who indicate Real Estate Development as their first choice major can be admitted directly to the Price School.
Transfer Applicants
Anyone who has attended college after high school and wishes to attend USC is eligible to apply as a transfer student. Applicants to the BRED major are advised to seek admission before they have completed 54 transferable units, including BRED prerequisites. Transfer students will complete a minimum of five semesters at USC for the Real Estate Development major.

Transfer applicants who indicate Real Estate Development as their first-choice major can be admitted directly to the Price School.
Prior to admission, transfer applicants to the BRED program are expected to have completed the following prerequisites:
- Transfer course equivalent to MATH 117 (Can also be satisfied by AP calculus score of 4 or 5)
- Transfer course equivalent to ECON 203 Microeconomics
