Biography

Ben Feingold is Managing Director at Grayslake Advisors. He has over a decade of economic consulting and litigation support experience and has served as a consulting expert on numerous significant and high-profile matters. Ben has broad experience as a practitioner and an educator in the areas of financial and economic analysis, as well as real estate development, operations, and finance. He previously worked in real estate development, where he worked on multifamily and commercial acquisitions, ground-up development and redevelopment, and tenant relations and coordination.

Ben has been an Adjunct Instructor of policy, planning, and development at the Price School since 2017, where he has taught undergraduate- and graduate-level courses in urban planning, real estate development and economic development finance. He was awarded the 2021-22 Golden Apple Teaching Award by graduate Master of Urban Planning students voting on professors who have had the most impact on them.

Ben earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Claremont Graduate University, where his areas of research were in applied microeconomics, with an emphasis on urban economics, public finance, and law and economics. He also holds a Master of Urban Planning from University of Southern California, and a B.A. in Public Policy from University of Michigan.

Ben lives in Redondo Beach with his wife and two daughters. He is actively involved in the lay leadership of Jewish Federation Los Angeles, serving as a Board Member and committee chair.
