Biography
Carl F Meyer, FAIA is principal of CF Meyer Studio, a design consultancy for the planning, design and management of corporate, commercial and civic design projects. Carl retired as principal at Perkins+Will where he was a practice leader responsible for the leadership and direction of major commercial, civic and urban mixed-use projects. Recent award-winning projects include the UCLA Health Training Center and Los Angeles Lakers Headquarters in El Segundo, California and Zonamerica Cali in Colombia. Carl is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and a former president of the AIA California Council. Carl studied English Literature at Loyola Marymount University and received his Masters of Architecture from UCLA Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning. Carl has been an adjunct professor at USC’s Price School for three decades, teaching planning and design in the Masters of Real Estate Development program.
