Devyani Ramamoorthy

Biography

Devyani is a first-year Master of Public Policy Student from Bengaluru, India. Before joining the Price School of Public Policy, she worked with state and local governments in Bengaluru to plan and deliver transit-oriented development and improved transit connectivity for the city’s newest metro rail corridor. She was previously an Urban Fellow at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements, where she studied urban livelihoods and water supply, and discovered her love for examining cities from political, economic, and social lenses.

Devyani aims to design and implement accessible and equitable social safety nets for urban and urbanizing areas in the Global South. She enjoys playing football, travelling by public transit, and terrace-hopping in Indian cities.
