Biography

Lucia’s journey in healthcare began when she became a caregiver for her father with Alzheimer’s, exposing her to the challenges and inequities in the system. This experience sparked her passion for advocating for inclusive, accessible care. With over 20 years in healthcare sales, marketing, and community engagement, Lucia has led transformative initiatives at Medline Industries and StateServ Medical, driving growth, innovation, and strategic partnerships. 

Lucia is pursuing an Executive Master of Health Administration (EMHA) at USC Sol Price School of Public Policy to advance her mission of creating patient-centered, equitable healthcare systems. She aims to empower caregivers, simplify care journeys, and promote diversity within healthcare leadership. Joining the USC MAP Board aligns with her commitment to inspiring future leaders, fostering collaboration, and building sustainable solutions that make quality care accessible to all.
