Application Materials
The following items are required to complete the application process:

- Application fee of $90
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. USC now accepts official electronic transcripts from all countries, provided that the transcript originates from a secure site formally linked to the sending institution. All applicants should have their university registrar send transcripts electronically to [email protected]. To expedite review of your application, you may upload **OFFICIAL** copies of your transcripts into your application but you must still have official transcripts sent electronically to [email protected]. If your university doesn’t send transcripts electronically, please have them sent to the address listed on the transcripts requirements page here.
- Price has discontinued the GRE/GMAT requirement for admissions review. Applications will be reviewed holistically.

- MRED applicants are required to have a minimum of two years full-time work experience following completion of the bachelors degree. Experience must be in real estate or a closely related field. Students who have worked directly with real estate assets – such as development, construction, architecture, city planning, commercial real estate finance, commercial real estate brokerage, or real estate law – are best prepared for the MRED program.
- A minimum of three letters of recommendation, including at least one academic reference. If an academic referral is not available, a third professional reference is acceptable. Please note: Letters of recommendation must be submitted through the online application system. We will not accept letters of recommendation through postal mail.
- A statement of purpose (submitted via online application Supporting Documents upload). Statements should be approximately 1,000 words, double-spaced with at least a 10-point font. It is expected that applicants author their own personal statements that address the following:
- Your interest in the real estate profession and the USC Dollinger MRED program
- Your academic and professional preparation
- Any entrepreneurial endeavors you have undertaken
- Your career goals
- The training and experience you have received to satisfy MRED prerequisite requirements
- Please share how your experiences, background, and/or interests have shaped you and will shape your engagement in the Price community
International students must also submit the following documents:
- TOEFL/IELTS scores (official scores must be received directly from the testing service and date no earlier than 24 months prior to the start of your intended first term at USC)
- USC institution code: 4852
- Official transcripts indicating the award of all degrees with the title and date conferred in your native language and an exact translation into English for each document
